“A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” composed by Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster, fixates on the unforeseen (and genuine) companionship among Mr. Rogers and the award-winning journalist Lloyd Vogel (“The Americans” Emmy winner Matthew Rhys). The trailer’s opening minutes are a delicate mix of ruddy nostalgia and altruism. Punctuated by a line that Hanks conveys as Rogers: “We are trying to give the world positive ways of dealing with their feelings.”
